Yes, but verifying stuff with the RAM under the ROM is impossible. Anyway, I think that Olaf meant that the tape routines actually write multiple copies of the program to the tape. After the first pass, it will compare the (I think) two following copies with the first copy. And if you are loading the stuff to $a000-$bfff or $e000-$ffff, you'll get a LOAD ERROR. Marko
