Gcc is memory hungry. Is DICE free nowadays? I recall seeing an announcement that Matt had released DICE, source code, etc. to the public domain. Naturally Aminet is the obvious place to look. (I purchased 3.0 a few years back, and haven't searched for any upgrades etc.). -S
