Well, I can do with less than 8 levels of subdirectory nesting, if I copy the /pub/cbm archive to a subdirectory that is located directly off the root of the CD. Now I wasted two levels by placing it in /ftp.funet.fi/pub/cbm. Macs have their own extensions (whose name I forgot), and also M$ had to develop its own non-standard, called Joliet.
