Hi all! I compared the 1581 test/demo disk archived at ftp.funet.fi with the one Larry gave me with the 1581 drive I bought from him. The copy from Larry seems to lack the "copyright cbm 86" USR file, and its version of the "burst subs.lst" SEQ file is longer than the truncated file in the archived copy. This makes me believe that neither the archived copy of the disk is intact. Those who have an original 1581 test/demo disk could contribute now by making an image of the disk. The image can be made either with prlink's prdisk program (which is extremely slow), or on a PC compatible with Linux or with Wolfgang Moser's 1581copy program on MS-DOS.
