Hi Ruud, this weekend I managed to build a ramdisk driver for the whole SCSI/HD driver. It basically exports an "init", a "getsize"(of medium), an "inquire" for the device type and read/write block functions. (see my SCSI drivers for the C64 for example, on http://www.tu-chemnitz.de/~fachat/8bit/c64/scsi/index.html (although they have small bugs as I found out when now using them, the layered structure is still in use)) If you implement this layer for your IDE interface, you can use my filesystem (in the current development version) almost right out of the box. (Or at least the PC partition scanner, but you can as well use another one. Anyway, it would be nice if you use such a software layer to allow other people to change the layers above e.g from your code to GeckOS/A65) So long Andre -- Email address may be invalid.
