I put the CD image available at ftp://siphon.tcs.hut.fi/funet-cd.img.gz I couldn't figure out how to allow "ls" to work in the anonymous ftp server. Just get the file blindly. If you're using the NCSA ftp client on UNIX, use the command get funet-cd.img.gz |gzip\ -dc>cd.img to decompress it on the fly. If you're using a Commodore, tell Pasi to extend his gzip extractor so that it'll decompress from standard input. :-) The image was created with mkhybrid 1.11.3, and it has both Rock Ridge and Joliet extensions. I verified that the HTML files for short file names (files with names ending in .HTM) work by mounting the image with -roloop,norock,nojoliet,check=relaxed in Linux. The image is based on the state of the archive as of today. There is also an uncompressed version of the image. The file sizes are: -rw-r--r-- 1 msmakela msmakela 430418811 Mar 15 19:59 funet-cd.img.gz -rw-r--r-- 1 msmakela msmakela 580501504 Mar 15 19:59 funet-cd.img I will keep the files at least until the end of next week. If you cannot download the amount by then but could do it soon after that, drop me a line and I'll consider keeping the files longer.
