That particular modem isn't mine; my own one just came as is - no manuals or documentation. I never paid much attention to it until I realised I hadn't seen it elsewhere on the internet and the other CBM devices out there were for the user port. I think it's sealed together with glue so it'll be a pain opening it. However, I'll do this if anyone else is interested to know what's inside ;) It doesn't have the 'feel' of a proper Commodore product although it does have the name and logo, so perhaps it's another one of Commodore UK's maveric marketing failures...
