I made it to use the contiki telnet client to send and read emails. Notive that the @ sign is not where it seems! replace @ with a "fat minus" in the telnet client! something in the petscii ascii translation is scrambled. the smtp servers are not as 'open' as they where some years ago. so sometimes it requires an autentificated login, with a base64 encoded loginname. no big deal, but sometimes a little cryptic. nils Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list
