The Independent PET Library
(http://members.tripod.com/~petlibrary/index-2.html) has tons of programs
for the PET series, among which are the I.C.P.U.G disk collection. IIRC,
the collection includes Commodore's official development system with
full-screen editor, assembler etc. I remember tinkering with it a couple
of years ago using the xpet emulator from VICE.
