For the others: I sent Jim by accident an unfinished design from my work
because I was not able to access the Intenet from home. These RAM's are
NOT needed. And Jim, if you want to make the design smaller: ommit the
buffers! (But make sure to use a short IDE cable)
Remark: for one of my projects using this interface, extra RAM is
mandatory. But it is quite simple to piggyback a 6116 on top of the
original one and to connect its CS line with one of the free outputs of
the 7442. OK, this just adds 1 KB instead of the full 2KB but it is more
then sufficient.

If you have a good look at the design, you'll see where the 62256 in
your SCH originates from: just a leftover of this one :)
