But going through my 9060 directory on a back-up DVD I have here at
work, I found an old HTML I was preparing for my site. It mentioned
http://www.swtpc.com/mholley/SASI/SASI_Hard_Drive.htm as a site with
some data available. I just clicked it out of curiousity and suprise....
it contains much more info then before !!! Especially the PDF with the
schematic makes things quite clear IMHO. Just have a look yourself!

My HTML also mentioned this idea: use a micro-controller to replace the
middle-board. And as a 90x0 cannot be aware what is on the other site of
the middle-board, we can replace the MFM-drive by any drive we like: CF,
IDE, IDE etc. as long as we make sure the uC behaves towards the DOS
board as does the original "middle board".
