I just came across a list of corrections for the "PET/CBM Personal Computer Guide, second edition" by Adam Osborne and Carol S. Donahue. I compared the list to several coppies that I have access to. The first printing has none of the corrections. The seventh printing has all the corrections, Inculding the correct number for item 12: Each diskette drive buffer holds 254 characters Not 256 as the first printing says, or 253 as the correction says. You can find the printing number on the back of the title page just above the ISBN number. There is a line of numbers like: 1234567890 DODO 89876543 For each printing, one of the numbers on the left is removed, so that the first number on the line is the printing number. I will scan in the list an upload it to zimmers.net. wlevak@sdf.lonestar.org SDF Public Access UNIX System - http://sdf.lonestar.org Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing listReceived on 2009-07-30 05:06:18
