What I meant was that I have to check the things I said myself. I'm
quite sure that the manual mentioned that IEEE and IEC could be used
parallel in some way. Now I have to find out if it is true. If
interested, I can dump the ROM's of the various devices I have. I even
can disassemble them with my own disassembler.


About the MC3446 drivers, this Te-Wi interface, my own PC-IEEE interface
and the ones found in 64'er use the 74LS245 as data buffer and the
7407/7406 as drivers for the control lines. These drivers have one
drawback, the moment you power down your device, these drivers can
'shortcircuit' the bus.
