When it comes to home made software, you probably need more than those 5 GB to store it all since e.g. one game could appear in at least 5-10 different cracks and packed versions. D64 images seem more all purpose. They can contain both commercial software, copied software, public domain and own stuff. I think a majority of people who developed their own programs used floppy drives, so the number of TAPs with multiple but unique titles would be very few?
