I have one of the PAL 128D's (made in W. Germany) and just upgraded the 1571 rom from 310654-03 to 310654-05 using a 27512 EPROM where I had to do a $8000 offset because of the pinout of the 27512 :-), anyway I've never seen a metal case C128D here i Europe. was the PAL C128D PAL based on the same motherboard as the NTSC 'plastic case' versions?. I remember reading in a magazine about the Amiga release in the US, and we 'poor' Europeans where still waiting for the official C128 release... //Chr. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cameron Kaiser" <spectre@floodgap.com> To: <cbm-hackers@musoftware.de> Sent: Monday, November 30, 2009 4:33 PM Subject: Re: C128D Question >> So was there a version of the C128D released that did not have 64k VDC? >> I.E. a non-cr? > > In Europe, definitely.
