I need to build an adapter, which I will do when time permits. I don't really think that swapping EPROMs would help either. The board behaves in a way that strongly suggests a hardware issue (sometimes it works to some extent). Most helpful right now would be the disassembly of the MS-DOS loader, to see what causes the message "BAD INIT TABLE" to be displayed. i think that when the cause of this message is known, it will give many useful hints on why the board doesn't work.
