Yeah, once you mentioned it I see that it's always been there. Looks like 
when the character counters get preloaded for a new line there's some kind 
of glitch; that could be fun, figuring out the timing and decoding in that 
part of the display section.

This PET just ain't gonna give up easily, is it...
