Please don't take this post to diminish WoMo's efforts.  But, I'm now 
less concerned about demand for such an adapter, so I'll commit to 
running a 100 of them, provided someone will commit to handling the 
Verilog/VHDL for the CPLD.  (If it can be done in a GAL or two, so much 
the better, as it's hard to find 5V CPLDs at reasonable prices.

I'm happy to design the board (CPLD/GAL, FLASH, HEADER), and program it 
with the variations (I can also design a board with a JEDEC style EPROM 
socket so folks can drop in their own ROM files).

But, I just don't have enough expertise with HDL yet to commit to that 
portion.
