That would require a working system - and neither I or the CBM-900 is ready for that - yet :-) As I wrote in another email to this list: The system is well preserved and looks fine. But time will tell. I guess that the system have been powered off for more that 20 years now. The power supply needs a checkup in order to make sure that it does not blow the components away. A vario trafo (variable transformer) will be applied in order to be able to slowly increase the power while preserving the sinus curve on the secondary side. This usually prevents old capacitors from blowing off. This system is close to one-of-a-kind so I better be careful - and double check every step I do. /Uffe > > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-cbm-hackers@musoftware.de > [mailto:owner-cbm-hackers@musoftware.de] On Behalf Of Baltissen, GJPAA > (Ruud) > Sent: Friday, October 28, 2011 6:30 AM > To: cbm-hackers@musoftware.de > Subject: RE: CBM-900 floppy disk format/encoding > > Hallo Uffe > > >> From that I'll dare to conclude that the CBM-900 floppy disks are > DS/QD/100 TPI. > > How is this dive connected to the motherboard?
