Actually, I did not come for free advice to create a closed product, but for a discussion and brainstorming about the direction the project to create the best possible solution. So I was tossing some ideas that came across my mind to see if they are any good. In contrast to most people on this list, I am new to vintage computing and hacking, and have very faint idea what is good and what not, which projects get popular and which not, etc. That is why I enjoy discussions on this list and learning the point of view of others.
