Sure, it is some trouble to build up a symbol library, but it is not too much effort for small circuits, and you get full control of the appearance in return. :-) Recently, I learned some SVG and sketched a few diagrams: http://www.iki.fi/~msmakela/electronics/dynamo5v/switching/ Next, I might draw a circuit board with hand-written SVG :-) Just kidding, I like the ERC and DRC of Eagle.
