> Running KERNAL out of Cartridge has already been implemented in > EasyFlash cart. I am not sure how this is done there (anyone checked > that?) but it seem to work, including the RAM under KERNAL. No need to check anything, it's described there: http://skoe.de/kernal/kernal-cartridge.pdf But be warned that this document is outdated and in some details even wrong, thereas the basic principle is still the same. Currently I'm cleaning up the VHDL implementation, when I've done this I plan to release an updated CPLD core, to update that document and to describe the actual implementation. The VHDL code and the hardware design are all open and freely available, I'll post a link here as soon as I have finished the refacturing - please don't look there at the moment, it may be quite confusing to see code and comments which do/say something completely different ;) Skoe Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing listReceived on 2012-06-03 22:00:50
