Yes, there is some interesting info in those CBUG newsletters. I have started scanning them, and will post them as time permits. 
The first issue that I have (Issue#5) has been scanned and posted on my page here: http://www.6502.org/users/sjgray/computer/cbm2/index.html
If anyone has any issues that I'm missing and wishes to donate them, I will scan and post them as well with proper credit of course!
