I have three 326298A's (also a few others - 250407B, 250425 and 250469/4). I just measured and the pin spacing on the 326298 is 1.0" between the ROM chips. They are laid out in the same order as the 250407 - BASIC, KERNAL and CHAR (U3, U4, U5). It's cool because U6 is actually between U5 and U7 on this version. Actually all the chips are arranged in numerical order. I have never seen a 250441 but I would imagine it has 0.8" spacing like the versions before and after it do. I hope this information helps.
