Number of sides on Commodore drives

The 8050 and 8250 drives store the number of disk sides that they support
at location 4268.  I was wondering whether the 8280, 9060 and 9090 do the
same thing.  A short program to read that location follows:

   10 OPEN 1,8,15
   20 PRINT#1,"M-R"CHR$(172)CHR$(16)
   30 GET#1,C$:PRINT ASC(C$)

Anyone want to try that?
