BTW, what is this other list (at buffalo.edu)? You don't need to bother: I just downloaded them to ftp.funet.fi. It was pretty easy: I downloaded the file list with "lynx -dump", made a few regexp search/replace with vi, and used a Bourne shell while loop to download all files using the "lynx -source" command. Then I extracted all files with a shell for loop. Unix really is user friendly, it's just a bit selective about its friends. But now I'd like to have some generic descriptions of the archives. It seems that the files *txt.zip are directory listings of some sort, and the *lnx.zip files contain single Lynx archives containing the files. But what are the two-letter codes (b1 through b3, c1 through ck, u1 through u3)? The file ny.zip appears to be the New York Times article about some C= users. I wouldn't put it available without asking permission. Marko - This message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list. To unsubscribe: echo unsubscribe | mail cbm-hackers-request@dot.tcm.hut.fi.
