Hi All, Last night I did test my Magic Desk 1 cartridge with my Magic Voice and could not here any speech at all. With Magic Desk 1, some functions eg calculator etc are not available... but regardless, there was no speech when typing, starting or selecting menu functions. I tested the Magic Voice unit with BASIC, Gorf, and Wizard of Wor all of which worked, so I'm afrain Magic Desk 1 looks to be a dud. I re-checked the back of the Magic Voice packaging and it says that it works with Magic Desk 1+. I'm not sure whether 1+ really means 2, but in any case I don't have Magic Desk 2..... - Nick > -----Original Message----- > From: Nicolas Welte [SMTP:welte@chemie.uni-konstanz.de] > Sent: Tuesday, 22 February 2000 22:54 > To: cbm-hackers@dot.tcm.hut.fi > Subject: Re: Magic Voice Software > > g.j.p.a.a.baltissen@kader.hobby.nl wrote: > > For Nicolas: if you want to, I can lent you the module so you can do > some > > research on it.
