Commodore originally planned to make a fast disk drive system for the C64 before the 264 series came along and got it instead. The early C64 Programmers Reference Guides show $DExx reserved for the CP/M cartridge and $DFxx reserved for a fast (parallel) disk drive interface. Is there anything at all different from the 1541 versions of these files? Richard - This message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list.
