Or maybe someone at commodore found a spare case in a cupboard and christmas 
was coming.

It would be interesting to get a picture of the underside. Moving the C16 
badge is pretty simple, but moving the bottom sticker would not be (my c64 
came back from a service centre with a different case and no serial number 
sticker).
