Well, I wouldn't say sawing off large chunks of plastic from the left side of the case a "perfect" fit for the keyboard... shame to hack up something as valuable as a CBM-II case. I really don't know what you gain over a standard C128 case. But I guess something is better than nothing.

Speaking of CBM-II cases, I am in need of a 610/B128 top half to make a complete machine. Also, I'm looking for the dark-brown monitor piece from a 700-series machine for a special project if anyone can spare one.

Subject: C128 in 610 case

Hello!

This is the second time I am seeing something like this:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Commodore-C128-im-Commodore-610-Gehaeuse-Vermutlich-defekt-/301163672480?

Why would anyone do this kind of stuff?

Besides it's an interesting thing that both the C128 motherboard and
keyboard fit so perfectly in the CBM-II case...

Regards,
Michau.
