Well, that would be then a totally software issue, at which I feel much more comfortable :-) However, the fact that I received the drive with DIP switches set to burn-in test gives me a feeling that this is how the prototype was delivered to the original owner (because I don't suppose any of the prevous owners would deliverately set this), which would mean that the drive was never used and would probably contain nothing...
