The picture is used to make a remake of the print, so the picture quality is not directly reflected in the end product. Probably a good picture will reduce the cost and improve accuracy compared to an inferior picture. I have not personally ordered anything from the guy yet, so I don't know much about the prices, but the plates and stickers I've seen have been factory-quality.
