The VSP problem is due to the VIC driving the dram out of spec, which causes the analogue characteristics of the DRAM chips to come into play. There seems to be a common behaviour, which can crash but most software doesn't because it doesn't trigger it because the original programmer would have received the crash too. As long as you can make your c64 behave ok in the situations where the programmers c64 behaved ok then you're fine. It's worth running the Safe VSP demo and turning off the repair with shift-lock. http://csdb.dk/release/?id=115690 Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing listReceived on 2014-10-08 08:00:03
