Hallo allemaal, Again just an update. I managed to create an overlay of JiffyDOS. But that didn't go smooth. The sources that compiled a binary version were created within an hour. But creating the source code file was more difficult. The working of my overlay program is based on replacing old code by new code by looking at the ranges of each piece of code. But JD makes uses of many jumps and branches to the original code. So the only thing that had to be added was just a label. And a label doesn't occupy any byte. My first idea was to place the first line of original code after the label. It worked but I saw it as a lazy work around. So the last days I only have been busy solving this 'label only' problem. And it seems I succeeded :) -- Kind regards / Met vriendelijke groet, Ruud Baltissen www.Baltissen.org Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing listReceived on 2015-01-30 08:00:04
