As no SpeedDOS guru shows up... My half-educated guess is that there were basically two "real" versions ever created and the rest is just the typical better or worse "Raubkopierer" stuff as they were called in Germany where this extension was conceived and published. I've seen countless "versions" of SpeedDOS and SpeedDOS+ even back in the days but I never analysed them to check if there is anything beyond the startup colours and message, which would make the analysis worth the time. Like with the DolphinDOS 3, I would also be interested in tracing back the true, original version, preferably directly from the authors/publisher in order to be sure. If anyone has a truly original one, like bought directly from Herr Dichte for example - that would be the thing we are looking for. -- SD!
