IMHO, the first round of C64C cases, with graphic symbols on the front of the keys, like the original breadbox, have screws. The second round of C64C cases, with graphic symbols on top of the keys, tend to have the snap on clips. I believe the first type of case mounts the keyboard into the top half of the case with screws, and the second type has a design where the keyboard lies flat on top of metal shielding, not attached to the top half. It seems the molds in this case belong to the first series of C64C cases. I don't recall if the motherboard/keyboard from a newer generation C64C perfectly fits in the older shell, but let's hope it does.
