That's exacty what they did, it's spray-painted :-)

It' much rarer than the C64 Gold or C65, but for some reason it doesn't
capture that much imagination or command such prices. This one is even
rarer than that, because it's probably the only working hi-res
workstation model in the world (other working ones are servers) ;-)
