In this case, there is no data from the disk, and the drive waits forever. The behaviour is similar to the "killer tracks" on the 1541, although these have another, but similar reason. The same can happen if the drive motor is broken, for example: Again, no data comes in, and the drive waits forever. Perhaps, the D9090 which comes from a similar time frame has the same issue?
