I stumbled recently across a - kind of - interesting drive:

Admittedly I haven't seen one before. The quality of manufacturing is surprisingly good. It reports "CBM DOS V2.6 1541" although as rominfo.silverdr.com says ;-) it surely isn't CBM DOS as found in 1541.
