No. I am using the WDK ("Windows Driver Kit") compiler. More precisely, the WDK from Windows Server 2003 (3790.1830). This compiler is related to the Visual Studio one, but not identical. I have to use the WDK in order to compile the Device Drivers for the XA1541/XM1541. Unfortunately, I cannot use a newer WDK, because I have to install Visual Studio then. As I am using Windows in a Virtual Machine only, and Visual Studio is slow as hell in a VM, this is not an option. :( Note that the setup is a little bit more complicated, as you need the WDK, cc65 and cygwin (for sed) correctly installed in order to compile OpenCBM. But: Most of the tools also compile under Visual Studio. I have not tested it lately, though, I am using Visual Studio 6 (!) only, and some tools do not compile there because it lacks C99 features.
