Hallo Christian, > I thought the screen memory starts at 0008 too, because of the clear screen subroutine. > But the first pixels on screen start at 0010. I just wonder, pure curiosity, why the pixels start at 0010 and not 0000. Is it a 6845 thing? Another question: how were you able to mix graphics and text? I thought it was either this or that here. I know it is possible on the C64 using a program but you didn't mention it. @all: The hardware looks quite simple so if the schematic is known, I'm going to build my self one. But I am thinking of one change: I will look if I can free up a memory range of at least 256 bytes somewhere, maybe even using the $Axxx range. Not having to change a register for every byte will speed up building a graphical image. Looking at Christian's blog it could save at least 25% of time.
