BTW, if someone should do any board for an extra processor on an 8296,
it could be possible to run the bus faster with PLA replacements.
Currently the memory runs at standard speed for CPU access but at
double speed for video hardware access. It should be possible to run it
at double speed also for the processor. Maybe it could be possible to
interleave video and processor access so the processor would see the
memory as any 2MHz bus.

(However there probably needs to be exceptions for everything else but
the memory - afaik the 6520 and 6522 are too slow for 2MHz).
