I have some 512 KB SMD SRAM ICs laying around. And I was thinking if they could be used here in one or another way. The problem: the interface between the 8088 card and the main board only supports multiplexed address lines. 

Creating a complete new board could be an answer. Something for a rainy day, I think. And I would start with one for the 610 for two reasons:
- it needs modifications to be able to run the 8088 card
- I have three 610s and only one 720
