In the UK for a long time the courier company decided which packages they would declare to customs. They make a fee out of it, but they would avoid packages that would mean their fee didn't cover the costs when trying to obtain the payment. Which meant if you sent to a residential address then you would get charged, but not if it was sent to an office. Now they post a letter to inform you there is a parcel waiting and you need to pay up before they deliver it. Post brexit it's going to be even worse.Received on 2018-05-11 22:02:45
