It would be nice to have something similar for the PET. The hardware
wouldn't be hard, but I don't know how much work the software would
require.

Oh, I think I read about 1541-IDE many years ago but at that time I
thin it wasn't finished.

This could be a product people would want to buy if the price is
reasonable.

It might also be a good idea to have something similar but for the
bigger IEEE drives.
