It's better to call it having much more high frequency content though
in terms of their harmonic series. Both signals have same fundamental
frequency, they have same periods.

Is first statement really correct though?

In page 3, 1:1 and 1:3 pulses compared, amplitude in the fundamental
frequency seems to be lowered but there is not a strong sign of more
high frequency secondary harmonics.
