FYI, Cloanto does appear to be the owners of (at least) the C-64 ROM
copyrights - They're the licensor for the Commander X16 project which is
leveraging the C-64 KERNAL (modified) and C-64 BASIC ROMs (also modified I
think).

There was some stir a week or so ago when the project lead decided to give
up trying to reach out to Cloanto for an answer reguarding a license for
their project. He made a video to discuss this issue and as a result,
they were finally able to secure the license they needed. I can't find
the video any longer (on the "8 Bit Guy" YT channel), so he may have
removed it.
