Editing JaffyDOS font colour

I edited the text colour of different kernals. For original and JiffyDOS it
worked. However for JaffyDOS it did't work.
Does anyone know why?
I used the method described here:

0x0E was changed to 0x01 at the same spot at address 0x535 for all those
kernals.
