Hey Justin, The newer one is more expensive. SCSI2SD V6 Rev. 2020d: $98 USD SCSI2SD V5.2: $62 USD /Raj From: Justin <shadow_at_darksideresearch.com> Sent: Thursday, February 4, 2021 3:06 PM To: cbm-hackers_at_musoftware.de hackers <cbm-hackers_at_musoftware.de> Subject: Re: CMD HD mechanism failure? It can mimic drive identifiers when you need to use it in something that really cares but yeah, it is otherwise pretty simple. Normally you can use adapters to convert between 50 and 68 pin etc. Almost everything should negotiate down to crappy older scsi. I don’t really get the not buying the newer one concept. If it costs less and will perform better if you use it in something else in the future, why would you want the slower earlier more expensive revision? JustinReceived on 2021-02-04 23:00:03
