of course not, there was plenty of other jobs in those years. Even
when I graduated in the late '90s an electronic
engineer was still a semi-god even in a not so good country like
Italy. We basically could choose what to do. I think
USA in the '80s was still better in this regard.

And by the way, commodore did not survive too, so I think that
management way didn't prove so successful.
